The 09 series is the culmination of Jean's "guitar-building recipe," perfected with the first L-09 built in the 1970s. Forty years later, not much has changed. A perfect combination of East Indian rosewood for the back and sides, a Sitka spruce top, and Jean's signature and legendary X-bracing system. The L-09E delivers a powerful, dynamically balanced sound.
Whether in the studio or live, flat-picking or strumming, this true American workhorse offers the dynamic response and tonal projection that will thrill you. Standard features include JCL 18:1 tuners, flamed maple binding, and an abalone rosette. The L-09E is also professionally equipped with the L.R. Baggs Anthem (no-cut) preamp system.
