The HANIKA Flamenco KF is a high-gloss concert guitar optimized in every respect for the flamenco playing style. The back and sides are crafted from premium domestic cherry wood, while the soundboard—built using Torres-style bracing—features high-quality thermo-treated spruce. This lightweight, thin-bodied flamenco guitar is voiced specifically to emphasize attack. It shines with defined bass response and is ideal for expressive playing; the reduced side depth (by 2 cm) minimizes low-frequency bass resonance.
The flat soundboard, featuring 7-fold fan bracing, works in tandem with a special low-profile "Flamenco Invert" bridge made of thermo-treated service tree wood to create an instrument ideally suited for *golpe* (percussive tap) techniques. The bridge’s unique design ensures superior vibration transfer to the soundboard while maintaining low mass.
Key quality features of the Flamenco KF include black-burnished "Rubner R2-SE-Teflon" machine heads with bearings, bushings, and edge engraving; a thermo-treated alder neck reinforced with the finest hardwood; a fingerboard made of select granadillo; and a solid ebony headstock plate in a flamenco design. The body is sealed with a high-gloss, UV-cured acrylic lacquer, while the soundboard features our new glossy "spray-on shellac" finish. A full tap plate (*golpeador*) comes standard.
