Models in the Bourgeois Touchstone series are built in collaboration with the Eastman Bourgeois Workshop, which was established specifically for this series. In terms of sound and responsiveness, they are genuine Bourgeois guitars, as the bracing, calibration, and voicing of the soundboard are performed by the Bourgeois team in Lewiston. They are then vacuum-packed and shipped to Eastman, where the body and neck are assembled and the final finishing takes place.
